Maddefords Cottages are situated on the banks of the Bellinger River in the clean, country setting of the Bellinger Valley. You are warmly invited to join us for that special, self-paced holiday you have been promising yourself.
There is pleny of bird life as it is situated in a very tranquil setting.
Facilities: There are two self-contained cottages available at Maddefords. Each cottage sleeps up to six adults. The cottages are positioned to offer you maximum privacy. The cottages feature a fully equipped kitchen and two outdoor verandahs which afford beautiful views over the Bellinger River.
There are canoes/ kayaks, swimming, fishing, tennis, and a gym also for the energetic. There is disable access in one of the cottages also.
You can also kayak into Bellingen which generally takes up to 40mins depending on the tide and flow of the river. Being close to town you have easy access to great coffee shops / restuarants etc with taxi pick up if required

Directions: Getting to Bellingen and Maddefords Cottages is straight forward. Maddefords Cottages are 2 km from the Bellingen Post Office and on the north side of the Bellinger River.
The Waterfall Way takes you into Bellingen. Proceed and turn right if coming from the Pacifiv Hwy, left if coming from Armidale, in front of the Bellingen Post Office. Continue over Lavenders Bridge to the roundabout. At the roundabout turn right (uphill) and stay on this road for 1.5 kms until you see Maddefords Cottages on your right. Parking is available beside each cottage. |
