There's no reason for kids to tell you they're bored around here! There's plenty of options for guided or self-guided excursions, all you need is some time to get amongst it.

Just up the road from Bellingen town centre are canoe adventure tours and hire on the  Bellinger River, horseback trail rides at Valery, go karts & a water park at Raleigh. Make every day of your holiday an adventure and book your activities here before setting off.

 

If golfing's your thing, you won't be disappointed with your choices around Coffs Coast. Both Bellingen and Dorrigo feature beautiful courses or you can make your way to Australia's most beautiful golf course up the highway at Bonville International. Fancy a game of tennis? Fishing enthusiasts shouldn't miss the Putt Bennett Fishing Festival at Mylestom in January. The Bellinger & Kalang Rivers offer many and varied fishing locations along the seaboard. Up on the Dorrigo Plateau you can visit one of Australia's largest sports fishing hatcheries at Dutton Trout Hatchery close to the spectacular Point Lookout.

Coastal Delights

Slip, slop, slap...SPLASH! It's all on in the water in and around Urunga and the unique villages of the seaboard. Watch dolphins cruise the waterways and pelicans laze in the sun. Look down at low tide on a warm day and the soft sands will be alive with soldier srabs twinkling blue in the sun.

Fish, surf, sail or swim at the pristine beaches, the grand rivers, or in the protected waters of Urunga lagoon. Venture through the coastal wetlands or stroll the beaches collecting treasures. Or perhaps drift off with a good book under the trees, overlooking the lido.
