Getting to Bellingen, Dorrigo & Urunga

Location

Bellingen Shire is located halfway between Sydney (520km) and Brisbane (440km) on the east coast of Australia. From the sunny beaches just south of Coffs Harbour, it extends west along Waterfall Way and over the Great Escarpment towards Armidale.

Getting There

AIR
Coffs Harbour Regional Airport (30mins drive from Bellingen) has daily flights from Sydney and Brisbane and weekly from Melbourne by Qantas or Virgin Blue airlines.

TRAIN
Countrylink trains run from Sydney 3 x daily and from Brisbane 2 x daily stopping at Urunga (by arrangement)

BUS
Via the Pacific Highway, Sydney and Brisbane buses stop at the Visitor Information Centre at Urunga.

Visit Greyhound or Premier

CAR
On the Pacific Highway watch for Urunga, 20km south of Coffs Harbour. The Waterfall Way State Highway (just north of Urunga) takes you to Bellingen in 10 minutes and on to Dorrigo in 30 minutes. 
From the New England Highway, turn east onto the Waterfall Way at Armidale and follow signs to Dorrigo/Coffs Harbour.
